The process
We worked with the lovely team at Power2 to create a new site that worked harder for the charity and better reflected the organisation they are today.
The project was a pacey one, with the 60+ page website going live in just 14 weeks.
In that time, we ran a kick off workshop with the internal team, delivered full site UX & UI design, built the site, tested and set it live.
The compressed timelines were due to a hard deadline of 2nd June, when the old site was being ‘switched off’ by the existing supplier, meaning there was no wiggle room at all for delays.
The bold colour scheme uses the existing Power2 brand and guidelines. All colours and contrasts on the site achieve WCAG2.2 AA standard or higher, and accessibility software is installed on the site to allow for screen-readers and other adaptations required by users to the site.
The site included a full content migration process, taking a wide range of content typed form the old site to the new one, through a combination of automated and manual processes, to ensure maximum efficiency alongside technical requirements and aesthetics.
The outcome
Power2 now have a bold, accessible website that launched on time and exceeded expectations.
Delivered in just 14 weeks, the site met a hard deadline with no margin for delay.
The new site reflects Power2’s vibrant brand, with all colours and contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.2 AA standards or higher. Accessibility software was installed to support users with different needs.
The site now integrates seamlessly with tools like Run for Charity, Stripe and Raisely. A smooth content migration process ensured nothing was lost, and the Power2 team were thrilled with both the result and the collaborative process.
